I am delighted to share once again that the PM team recorded an all-time achievement of excellence, scoring 71.2 percent in their Net Promoter Score survey from tenants, qualifying us as a World Class firm. This survey shows that our tenants are loyal to the Hartman brand and would recommend us to their peers. With our sights set on improving even further, the leasing team continues to be successful in driving renewals and retention by being hyper-focused on the tenant’s experience and showing what it means to supply the white-glove service our company is known for.
I am excited about these results and the effort of our team members. The PM team had many exceptional contributors with special recognition going to Peyton Bernell, Paola Conde, Ana Esquivel, Rosa Ortez, and Amanda Davis. Each of these managers’ teams earned a score of over 85 percent, which is truly a testament to the love and care that they give their tenants.
The excellent news continues; Hartman was named Landlord of the Year at the 2022 Houston REDnews Real Estate Awards. Our marketing team landed us nominations for three more awards, including two top leasing transactions for full-floor office leases at Three Forest and Spectrum. Anthony Trollope, our Vice President of Marketing, was nominated for Emerging Leader of the Year.
The Landlord of the Year award is truly a team effort, and we couldn’t have won without each department putting in 100%. I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on this accomplishment on Friday, September 16th.
The leasing team has leased nearly 500,000 square feet through July from almost 275 new leases. In July, we are ahead of budget with 84.39% occupancy. Our leasing team ended July with nearly 50,000 square feet. Kacie Skeen was our top performer for the month, with a net gain of 1.20% in her portfolio.
As you all know, the company has been embarking on strategies to implement cost-saving initiatives. Thank you to our esteemed Financial Committee for their demanding work in ensuring the best outcome for the company. It is no small feat! We are actively pursuing many options and appreciate all the efforts into making our company stronger.
